Middle Creek Publishing & Audio presents Roman Sanchez reading from his book Buffalo Crossing - Standing in Defense of the Wild and Sacred. Buffalo Crossing is a book of field notes, poetry and letters describing a families journey with the Wild and Sacred by taking a stand in defense and to document the atrocities committed against our National Mammal: the last wild and free roaming Bison.

The 2017 short film (12 mins) Our National Mammal will be screened prior to the reading. A portion of sales from this book will go to support the Buffalo Field Campaign.

Roman Sanchez has lived in an off-grid straw bale cabin at 9,200 feet that he built with his wife and community for the last 18 years. For 18 years now, Roman, his wife Justine and his son Japhy have migrated to the shores of the Madison River, outside West Yellowstone Montana, to stand in defense and document the atrocities committed against our National Mammal: the last wild and free-roaming Bison.

Middle Creek Publishing is partnering with the Buffalo Field Campaign supported in part by  Patagonia and Catchafire to bring this book and readings to your local area.
