Being a small, independent press, Middle Creek only accepts open unsolicited submissions during its General Reading Periods. A Reading Fee must accompany all Open Submissions. Please keep manuscripts submissins for the Open Reading period to:
- A cover letter and a Chapbook length manuscript
or
- A cover letter and up to 10 poems from a larger collection
or
- A cover letter, synopsis and 2 to 3 chapters (or short stories) of a novel or non-fiction book.
All other calls for submissions can be found for specific contests or work we are seeking.
We are open to emailed query letters, however, so if you feel we are a good fit for your work please feel free to write us a letter. Any submission of manuscripts or work received outside this window (without prior written consent) will most likely not be read, so please write us a letter.
